We are happy to have witnessed the perfect timing for two kids to take a picture with Santa. Eliza is done being afraid of the jolly ol' man and even told me "Santa is a nice guy, hims really nice" before she went to tell him her Christmas wish list (books). Anderson is at the age of being plunked down in Santa's lap without knowing what happened to him. Next year is when the fear will most likely set in.

Seriously...this little guy is so happy. This was during a time when he should have been taking a nap. Anderson started rolling around at 3.5 months and is already trying to push his upper body up and squirm around. Oh boy, we could be in for it.

Henry looking for his brain. Or a ball. Which ever is easier to find.
It has been 8 years this December since we moved into our house. The yard was a blank canvas ready for us to take action. For the first few holiday seasons, we bought live Christmas trees so we could plant them in our yard. Here is the Cedar tree from our first Christmas:

"O.K., hurry! Get your snow clothes on while your brother takes a nap!"
It was time for Eliza and I to build our first snowman! December 1st was a snow day for everyone so we couldn't have picked out a better time to make our creation. The dogs were just as giddy to be outside playing in all the fresh powdery snow.
