Falling into place

Ah, the good times that come with the season of fall. Halloween turned out better than I had expected (see Halloween post from last year) as far as the costume situation. Holidays where you are expected to dress up typically are not fun with a child who fears dressing up. Those days are behind us as we are enjoying life as a princess. I love to have costumes with a theme so Anderson was kind enough to be a frog along side his princess sister. We spent the evening with the great grandmother's and Eliza really got the hang of the trick or treating.

School is going very well now for her! People would tell us "Wait a few days or a week and she will jump right in." Try almost a month and a half. When I turned the corner one day to pick her up from school and saw her out on the playground with the other kids instead of playing "teacher's shadow", I was beyond proud. I wanted to take a picture and hug her teacher. Ms. Kristi was a patient person to have Eliza track her every move for over a month. Each day Eliza participates more and more in the classroom and continues to love going to school. She is also more outgoing in other social situations outside of school. Whew. Take a deep breath. Our kid isn't so weird after all.

Cheering on the Vandals. Even though are team isn't very good, at least we look good.

I had to show how small Anderson was for his first Vandal Football game!

Annual trip to Twin Falls. Oh, I love spending time at Mom and Larry's place in Twin. Eliza LOVES it as well and has told me she will take a bus to go down and see Grandma if needed. This suggestion comes from the real horror of when my parents used to send me on the Greyhound bus BY MYSELF as a young child to visit my grandparents in Twin Falls. They of course deny such an evil act.

Larry is very proud of his seasonal decorations so we had to do a photo shoot

Anderson is still one happy sweet baby. Even though I am exhausted from getting up 1-2 times a night he always melts my heart with smiles like this:

Eliza having a deep discussion with the sheep. Maybe she was breaking the news to them that this was their last weekend before being sent to their "winter home".
