Bless you Daddy

Happy Easter everyone!
Our family has had a wonderful yet challenging last week. Eliza starting things off right by saying her first three word sentence and melting our hearts yet again. Lucas was changing her diaper, sneezed and Eliza immediately followed with "Bless you Daddy!" Extra words and manners to boot, wow! Now of course she wants to keep saying it since we throw a parade every time she says it. We even had an offer by April's mom to make a small pope outfit for her so we can take her on the road to bless people. We might consider.

Eliza had her first Easter Egg hunt after our Stroller Strides class on Friday.

On Sunday we had Lucas's family over to do another egg hunt and yummy ham meal. It was almost like a Spring Christmas as everyone was so generous with gifts for Eliza.

Doesn't this look like an add for shampoo with the wind blown hair?

Molly trying to entice Eliza to go through it. Eliza learned to just walk around the other side when she threw something in.

On the challenging side, I have not been feeling well. Sleep has been hard to come by for almost two weeks now. Fatigue has already been a constant companion of mine so the lack of sleep is making me feel crazy. A weird stomach bug got Lucas last week and now I have been dealing with it for the last 5 days. Ughhh. I have a lot of days where I will be working in the next two weeks which is giving me anxiety because I won't be able to nap during the day. Now is the time to plug in my mom's famous advice "One hurdle at a time."
So, I let my doctor know how I am feeling and tomorrow I am picking up some prescription samples for a fabulous (hopefully) drug called Provigil to fight my fatigue. Wish me luck and much rest:)
It is hard not being able to accomplish much during the last few days and I have been soooo grateful for Lucas stepping in to make things happen. All I can say is "Bless you Daddy."
